How to tell which game you are in
The name will not help you. Two live Pet Store Tycoon places exist on Roblox and both appear under the same title in search results, in friends' activity feeds and in video thumbnails. What separates them is never the title — it is the place ID and the developer, both printed on the game page.
- The 2026 remake — place 118845698633260, developed by Already Arrived Studios, rebuilt in June 2026. This is the game every guide on this site documents.
- The 2020 original — place 5254674128, created by DantesDivine, and still live as its own game with its own progression system.
The fastest check is the web address of the page you are on: 118845698633260 means the remake, 5254674128 means the 2020 release. The developer name settles it just as quickly, because the two games are not made by the same studio.
What the 2026 remake is
The game this site covers is the 2026 remake. It is developed by Already Arrived Studios, was rebuilt in June 2026, and lives at place 118845698633260 in the Simulation / Tycoon genre. Servers hold eight players.
When the figures on this page were read from the Roblox game page on 8 October 2026, it listed 12,415 players in game and 4,058,188 visits, and the page itself had last been updated on 5 October 2026. Those numbers move constantly, so read them as a snapshot of one day.
Everything else on this site — the care routine, the money priorities, the codes list, the expansion order — describes that build and no other.
What the 2020 original is
The older game of the same name is still on Roblox at place 5254674128, made by DantesDivine. It carried the Pet Store Tycoon name before the remake, and it kept its own progression when the 2026 version arrived.
That release is not a demo, a beta or a retired build. It is a separate game with a separate save, its own content and its own systems. Its progression was designed independently, so its unlock order, prices and line-up do not map onto the remake, and the codes that work in one are not the codes that work in the other.
Nothing on this site is written for it. Where we do describe the care vocabulary shared by both games, that shared wording is not evidence that the two run the same systems underneath — the similarity of a task list is not a similarity of progression.
Why guides do not transfer
A guide is only as useful as the build it was written against. These two games differ in exactly the material a guide is made of: the order in which unlocks arrive, what an area or upgrade costs, how much the store can hold at each stage, and what a code redeems.
That is why advice is not translated between them. A spending order that is correct in the 2020 original can point at content the remake does not contain, and the reverse is just as true. Codes make the same point from the other direction: SNEK and PETS are listed as working in the 2026 game as of 8 October 2026 and were checked against that build, and this site makes no claim about what they do anywhere else.
Figures, prices and unlock lists for the 2020 original are outside what this site documents. Unconfirmed — check in-game.

If the place ID in your address bar is 118845698633260, everything else here was written for you. If it is 5254674128, you are in the 2020 original and the rest of this site is the wrong guide.
